12/15/08 - Geotech Releases Enviro Spase 2008 |
Geotech has completed and released to customers the updated 2008 version of our popular Enviro Spase (pronounced like "space") GIS tool. This new release includes significant enhancements to existing functionality, such as lithology display added to the stick logs, as well as several new "wizards", including "radar plots", two new station posting wizards, and a feature to save graphics as layers. 12/1/08 - Geotech Trade Show attendance skyrockets in Fall 2008
|
During the Fall of 2008, Geotech attended and exhibited at an unprecedented number of trade shows, due to the increase of inquiries from around the country to see our Enviro software. We exhibited at the University of Massachusetts Soils Conference in Amherst, MA, October 10-23. We set up our next booth at the Petroleum Hydrocarbons Conference in Houston, TX, November 3-4. From there we traveled to Albuquerque, NM for the International Petroleum Environmental Conference, where Dr. Dave Rich presented a paper to the attendees, and Geotech also had a booth. Our next trade show exhibit was Tulsa, OK for the Tribal Environmental Conference, November 19-21. Our final trade show of 2008 will be the annual National Groundwater Association conference in Las Vegas, NV, December 3-5. See the website at www.ngwa.org. 10/31/08 - Geotech Attends Colorado Brownfields 2008 |
One of the many trade shows that Geotech is
attending this Fall is the Colorado Brownfields being held in Aurora, CO
November 20 – 21. This year’s show is being sponsored by the US
EPA, Altus Environmental, URS, Waste Management, and Pinyon
Environmental, to name a few organizations. Some of the topics
that will be discussed this year are: New Frontiers in Brownfields
Redevelopment, Superfund Remediation and Tech Innovation, Petroleum
Brownfields and Gas Station Redevelopment, and Brightfields: Renewable

| 9/15/08 - Geotech to attend Remediation of Abandoned Mine Lands conference | Presented by US EPA and NGWA, the Remediation of Abandoned Mine Lands conference this year will be held at the Westin Tabor Center in Denver, CO, on October 2 – 3, 2008. Geotech is proud to be exhibiting at this year’s conference. Some of the topics discussed at this year’s conference will be acid mine drainage, heavy metal mobilization, radionuclide leaching, soil erosion, and spills of manmade chemicals used in mining operations. 8/1/08 - Geotech to Attend EnviroFest '08 |
Once again, Geotech is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at and sponsoring this year’s Rocky Mountain Association of Environmental Professional’s annual EnviroFest event. The event will be held at Denver’s PPA Event Center on September 18, from 5:30 – 9:30pm. There will be speakers from Governor Ritter’s office, the Denver Director of Greening for the 2008 Democratic National Convention, Xcel Energy’s Policy Relations Manager, and others. This year’s event also includes a cocktail hour for networking, a sumptuous dining experience, and live music featuring Colorado Bluegrass by Slipstream. | 7/1/08 - Geotech announces new release of Enviro Spase 2008 |
Geotech Computer Systems, Inc. is proud to announce the release of Enviro Spase 2008. This upgrade includes a number of significant features to the software. Some of these features are: Radar Plots, which provides display of a single analytical parameter on multiple dates, or multiple analytical parameters on a single date or depth range; Stick Logs with Lithology, which can now show lithology patterns as well as value ranges by color codes; Post Station Symbols, whose new Wizard lets you show station symbols using the extensive set of symbols available in ArcGIS; Station Name Callouts, which posts station names in balloon or line type callouts around the periphery of the map; and Make Graphics into Layer, a new utility that lets you save currently displayed graphics as a layer that can be turned on or off at will. Numerous other small enhancements have been made. Enviro Spase ties in with sophisticated features like regulatory limit comparison and Value and Flag Display, in Geotech’s powerful Enviro Data program, and it brings the accuracy and efficiency of organized data management to your GIS mapping.
